Our Objective:
To ensure that eligible students have the opportunity to obtain a college degree by offering financial planning services and academic support.

 

Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded on a merit basis to aspiring and currently-enrolled qualified students seeking financial assistance to continue their education. Applicants must fulfill certain eligibility criteria to be considered. Each scholarship program is unique in the number of awards available and eligibility requirements.

Scholarship money may be applied towards*:

  • Tuition
  • Food
  • Transportation
  • Books and Supplies
  • Living Expenses

Eligibility Criteria:

Grants
Our grant programs provide need-based financial support to low income undergraduates who aspire to receive a post-secondary education.

What determines financial need and amount of award?

    • Cost of attendance
    • Expected family contribution as determined by FAFSA
    • Enrollment status
    • Personal income
    • Combined family state taxable income
    • Accrued debt
    • Family size
    • Number of family members enrolled in college
    • Living expenses
    • Projected income
    • Cause of economic hardship

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Income eligibility and significant financial need
  • A copy of a submitted Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA)
  • Graduation from high school in the U.S, a GED, or passing of a federal approved “Ability to Benefit” test as defined by the Commissioner of the State Department of Education
  • U.S citizenship or eligibility as a non-citizen
  • Proof of enrollment or acceptance as a undergraduate or graduate in a degree seeking programat a 2 or 4 year U.S accredited institution
  • Matriculation in an approved program of study and good academic standing
  • A cumulative “B” average after receipt of the first annual payment
  • Enrollment as a part-time student taking at least 6 credits per semester, or as a full-time student taking at least 12 credits per semester.
  • Volunteer and work experience

Award money may be applied towards*:
